Muay Thai ring names
I've started a discussion about the punctuation of muay thai ring names at WT:WikiProject Martial arts/Kickboxing task force#Muay Thai ring names. Please share your thoughts if you're interested, thank you. --Paul_012 (talk) 11:32, 4 January 2025 (UTC)
Prachantakhiri Khet Province
Could someone take a look at the newly created but almost entirely unsourced Prachantakhiri Khet Province? Curb Safe Charmer (talk) 16:31, 26 January 2025 (UTC)
:It's poorly translated from an original that's rather unfocused and overlaps content better covered elsewhere, but the topic is easily verifiable. There don't seem to be many sources that make in-depth mention beyond a historical footnote, though, so at best, with the irrelevant content trimmed out, this would be a two-paragraph perma-stub. I've renamed the article to Prachan Khiri Khet, which reflects the intended pronunciation and the fact that it wasn't actually a province, as its existence predated the provincial administration system. --Paul_012 (talk) 01:17, 28 January 2025 (UTC)

Populations and other demographics
Is there a reasonably recent RS for Thai populations? All the best: Rich Farmbrough 12:17, 13 February 2025 (UTC).
:The overdue national census was supposed to take place in 2020, but was called off due to the pandemic. It's now scheduled to begin this April. Other than the census, the only available figures that aren't estimates are from the population registry, which does not reflect actual residency due to internal migration. --Paul_012 (talk) 19:41, 16 February 2025 (UTC)

Sai Yok Noi Waterfall
I just discovered Sai Yok Noi Waterfall and Sai Yok Noi Waterfalls. Are they the same thing and thus need merging or are they two separate things. CambridgeBayWeather (solidly non-human), Uqaqtuq (talk), Huliva 03:52, 15 May 2025 (UTC)
:Same thing needing merging. The creator appears to be a new account unfamiliar with Wikipedia's workings. --Paul_012 (talk) 15:25, 16 May 2025 (UTC)
::OK. that's what I thought. CambridgeBayWeather (solidly non-human), Uqaqtuq (talk), Huliva 16:34, 16 May 2025 (UTC)

The DCWC is back!
File:Developing countries award - gold.svg
WikiProject Thailand, the Developing Countries WikiContest will be returning for a second year, and sign-ups are now open! The contest will run from 1{{nbsp}}July to 30{{nbsp}}September, and the objective remains the same: improve as many articles relating to developing countries as you can to help fight systemic bias on Wikipedia.
In other news, we have a new face on the coordinator team this year: last year's sixth-place finisher, {{user|Arconning}}! The coordinators would like to extend a sincere thanks to {{user|Ixtal}}, who is leaving the team, without whom the contest would not exist. After feedback from contestants last year, the scoring rules are undergoing some modifications; the new rules and a summary of the changes made will be posted to the contest talk page shortly.
If you have any questions, please leave a message on the contest talk page, use the {{tl|@DCWC coordinators}} template, or contact one of the coordinators: {{user|Arconning}}, {{user|sawyer777}}, or {{user|TechnoSquirrel69}}.
