Wilfrid Godfrey Attard (unknown – 23 November 2001{{cite web|url=https://timesofmalta.com/articles/view/heard-in-the-hive.159840 |title=Heard in the Hive|publisher=Times of Malta|language=en|access-date=2019-08-13}}{{cite web|url=http://www.chessmalta.com/news_main-pre2009.html|title=Latest Local News |language=en|publisher=www.chessmalta.com|access-date=2019-08-13}}) was a Maltese chess player and administrator, twelve-times Maltese Chess Championship winner (1946, 1950, 1953, 1954, 1957, 1958, 1959, 1960, 1961, 1963, 1964, 1980).

Biography

Wilfrid Attard was twelve-time Maltese Chess Championship winner (1946, 1950, 1953, 1954, 1957–1961, 1963, 1964 and 1980). Also he was silver medalist of the 1996 Malta Chess Championship.

In 1960, 1964 and 1981 Wilfrid Attard represented Malta in World Chess Championships European Zonal tournaments. Wilfrid Attard served as President of the Malta Chess Federation.
