A new Willamina High School was eventually built in 2015.{{cite web|url=https://oregonnews.uoregon.edu/lccn/sn93050714/2003-07-15/ed-1/seq-5.pdf|title=Old Schools Never Die, Not In Our Memories|publisher=oregonnews.uoregon.edu|date=July 15, 2003|access-date=December 15, 2023}}{{cite web|url=https://www.polkio.com/archive/tribes-buy-former-willamina-school-building/article_6898ac52-e1a9-519e-99f0-7394afcc971e.html|title=Tribes Buy Former Willamina School Building|publisher=Polk County Itemizer-Observer|date=June 7, 2011|access-date=December 15, 2023}}{{cite web|url=https://newsregister.com/article?articleTitle=back-and-forth-in-willamina-creative-talents-and-spirit-of-community-converge--1700242364--47612--commentary|title=Back, and Forth: In Willamina, Creative Talents and Spirit of Community Converge|publisher=NewsRegister.Com|author=Neumann-Rea, Kirby|date=November 17, 2023|access-date=December 15, 2023}}
