William Greening

William Greening was an English-born American member of the Wisconsin State Assembly.
Biography
Greening was born in December 1827 in what was then Devonshire, England.{{cite book|title=The Legislative Manual of the State of Wisconsin|edition=16th|location=Madison, Wis.|year=1877|pages=475–476}} He settled in La Grange, Walworth County, Wisconsin in 1855.
Career
Greening was a member of the Assembly during the 1877 session.{{cite book|editor=Lawrence S. Barish|year=2007|title=State of Wisconsin Blue Book 2007 - 2008|page=142}} Other positions he held include Chairman (similar to Mayor), Supervisor and Assessor of La Grange. He was a Republican.
