William Swaddon was Member of Parliament for CalneA history of the borough and town of Calne and its surrounding villages" or: Marsh, A. E. W: Calne, Robert S. Heath, 1903 from 1604[http://www.historyofparliamentonline.org/volume/1604-1629/member/swaddon-william-1607 History of Parliament On-line] to 1605 when he asked to resign owing to ill health.Duke Law Journal Vol 58 November 2008 No 2 "Leaving the house: Chafetz,J ref No 35 1 H.C. JOUR. 257 (9 November 1605). His son was Archdeacon of Worcester from 1610 to 1623.
