Wolf is an unincorporated community in Tuscarawas County, in the U.S. state of Ohio.

History

An old variant name was Wolfs Station.{{GNIS|1061799}} Wolf's Station was laid out in 1874 by Enoch G. Wolf, and named for him.{{cite book|title=The History of Tuscarawas County, Ohio: Containing a History of the County; Its Townships, Towns, Churches, Schools, Etc.|url=https://books.google.com/books?id=7CJEAQAAMAAJ&pg=PA636|year=1884|publisher=Warner, Beers & Company|page=636}} A post office called Wolfs Station was established in 1874, the name was changed to Wolf in 1882, and the post office closed in 1940.{{cite web | url=http://www.postalhistory.com/postoffices.asp?task=display&state=OH&county=Tuscarawas | title=Tuscarawas County | publisher=Jim Forte Postal History | access-date=6 January 2016}} Besides the post office, Wolf had a station on the Cleveland and Marietta Railroad.
