It is designed for use on portable media such as a USB flash drive, but it can also be used on any hard disk drive.{{Cite web|title=XeroBank Browser|first=Martin|last=Brinkmann|date=17 September 2007|url=http://www.ghacks.net/2007/09/17/xerobank-browser/|access-date=16 April 2012|publisher=Ghacks}} As such, a secure and encrypted connection to any of the Tor or XeroBank routers can be created from any computer with a suitable Internet connection, and the browser clears all data that was created on the portable drive upon exit or on demand.

In 2007, TorPark was rebranded as xB Browser. At the time, it claimed 4 million downloads.{{Cite news|first=Remus|last=Zoica|access-date=17 April 2012|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20090202090054/http://securitysoftwarezone.com/anonymous-web-browser-xb-review834-6.html|archive-date=2 February 2009|url=http://securitysoftwarezone.com/anonymous-web-browser-xb-review834-6.html|title=Rebranding of the Updated Anonymous Web Browser, xB Browser, Formerly Known as Torpark to Eliminate Visitor Confusion|date=3 August 2007|publisher=Security Software Zone}} and in February 2008 over 6.5 million.{{Cite web|url=http://www.americanchronicle.com/articles/view/52958|access-date=17 April 2012|title=XeroBank Interview With Steve Topletz|first=Mark|last=Herpel|date=22 February 2008|publisher=Ultio, LLC.|work=American Chronicle|archive-date=18 April 2012|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20120418222033/http://www.americanchronicle.com/articles/view/52958|url-status=dead}}
