Xanthostemon umbrosus is a tree species in the family Myrtaceae that is endemic to Australia.{{FloraBase|name= Xanthostemon umbrosus|id=6126}}

The tree typically grows to a height of {{convert|10|m|ft|0}}. It blooms in between May and June producing yellow-cream coloured flowers.
