Xavier Lopez (born October 23, 2003), known professionally as Xaviersobased, is an American rapper and record producer from New York City. He is known for his eccentric rapping and production styles. He first gained recognition with his hit song "Patchmade." In his review of Keep It Goin Xav, Alphonse Pierre of Pitchfork wrote that despite drawing from various influences, Xaviersobased's style retains a strong New York rap identity, distinguishing him in the generally "amorphous" internet rap scene. He described the music as "vibrant, improvisatory, and fun as hell", while being relatively inaccessible with respect to vocals which are heavily layered and sometimes pitch-shifted. Lopez released his second mixtape of 2024, with 2, on June 5. On February 25, 2025, it was announced that Xaviersobased would be joining Nettspend on the latter's Invert tour.
On March 18, 2025, "Impact," a song by Nettspend featuring Xaviersobased, was released on all streaming platforms. The song was previewed on an Instagram live hosted by Nettspend on February 28, 2025, in which he was accompanied by Lopez.
