The Xiangjiaba Dam ({{zh|s=向家坝|t=向家壩|p=Xiàngjiābà}}) is a large gravity dam on the Jinsha River, a tributary of the Yangtze River in Yunnan Province and Sichuan Province in southwest China. The facility has eleven Francis turbines, four with a capacity of 812 MW and four rated at {{nowrap|800 MW}} and three with 450 MW, totalling an installed capacity of {{nowrap|7,798 MW}}.{{Cite web |last=reduper |title=Xiangjiaba Dam |url=https://www.reduper.com/industry/energy/power-station/hydro/xiangjiaba-dam/ |access-date=2022-12-21 |website=Super Engineering Website |date=13 September 2022 |language=en-US}} Xiangjiaba Dam is China's fourth-biggest hydropower station following Three Gorges Dam, Baihetan Dam and Xiluodu Dam.

Construction started on November 26, 2006, and its first generator was commissioned in October 2012.{{cite web|title=October impoundment acceptance of the Xiangjiaba Hydropower Station was officially launched|url=http://power.in-en.com/html/power-08130813711375862.html|publisher=International Power Grid|access-date=30 April 2012|language=zh|archive-date=1 May 2012|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20120501071630/http://power.in-en.com/html/power-08130813711375862.html|url-status=dead}} The last generator was commissioned on July 9, 2014.{{cite web | url=http://energy1.cri.cn/2/2014/07/15/22s1574.htm | title=Xiangjiaba, Xiluodu hydropower generating units put into the equivalent of a Three Gorges Power Station | publisher=People's Daily Online | date=15 July 2014 | access-date=21 July 2014 | language=zh | archive-date=24 September 2014 | archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20140924044951/http://energy1.cri.cn/2/2014/07/15/22s1574.htm | url-status=dead }}

The output of the generating station is connected to an ±800 kV HVDC link, the Xiangjiaba–Shanghai HVDC system, which transmits the power to Shanghai.
