The Xihan or Western Han River (Chinese: trad. {{lang|zh|{{linktext|西漢水}}}}, simp. {{lang|zh|{{linktext|西汉水}}}}, Xīhànshuǐ) is a northern tributary of the Jialing River, itself a tributary of the Yangtze. Within China, it is also known as the "Rhinoceros River" ({{lang|zh|{{linktext|犀牛江}}}}, Xīniújiāng).
The "Western" in its name distinguishes this river from the Han River, today known in Chinese as the Hanjiang ({{lang|zh|漢江}}) but historically known as the Hanshui ({{lang|zh|漢水}}).{{Cite web |title=Han, another name for Chinese |url=https://www.chinadaily.com.cn/m/shaanxi/gangwuqu/2013-05/02/content_16440429.htm |access-date=2025-01-06 |website=www.chinadaily.com.cn}}
