Xinzhuang Lisu and Dai Ethnic Township ({{zh|s=新庄傈僳族傣族乡|t=新莊傈僳族傣族鄉|p=Xīnzhuāng Lìsùzú Dǎizú Xiāng}}) is an ethnic township in Huaping County, Yunnan, China. As of the 2017 statistics it had a population of 17,526 and an area of {{convert|276.6|km2|adj=on}}.
Administrative division
As of 2016, the township is divided into seven villages:
- Xinzhuang ({{zh|s=新庄村|labels=no}})
- Tianxing ({{zh|s=天星村|labels=no}})
- Bian'ao ({{zh|s=边凹村|labels=no}})
- Bade ({{zh|s=八德村|labels=no}})
- Liangma ({{zh|s=良马村|labels=no}})
- Desheng ({{zh|s=德胜村|labels=no}})
- Lame ({{zh|s=腊么村|labels=no}})
History
In the Daoguang period (1821–1850) of the Qing dynasty (1644–1911), there is a house named "Xinzhuang" ({{zh|s=新庄|labels=no}}).{{sfn|He Jing|Liu Zhengfang|1997|p=47}} Since than, more and more people settled down and formed a market.{{sfn|He Jing|Liu Zhengfang|1997|p=47}}
In 1931, it belonged to the 5th District.{{sfn|He Jing|Liu Zhengfang|1997|p=47}} The Xinbang Township ({{zh|s=新邦乡|labels=no}}) was set up in 1937.{{sfn|He Jing|Liu Zhengfang|1997|p=47}}

Geography

The Liangma River ({{zh|s=良马河|labels=no}}), Bian'ao River ({{zh|s=边凹河|labels=no}}) and Xinzhuang River ({{zh|s=新庄河|labels=no}}) converged in this area.{{sfn|He Jing|Liu Zhengfang|1997|p=47}}
Economy
The region's economy is based on agriculture, animal husbandry, and nearby mineral resources. Vegetable, Dendrocalamus latiflorus and tobacco are the mainly economic plants of this region. Other commercial crops include citrus, walnut, zanthoxylum, mango. The region also has an abundance of coal, granite, limestone, kaolinite, feldspar, talc, gypsum, iron, and copper.{{sfn|He Jing|Liu Zhengfang|1997|p=47}}

The township is connected to two highways: the China National Highway 353 and G4216 Expressway.
