Yang Weizhen

Yang Weizhen ({{zh|p=Yáng Wéizhēn|w=Yang2 Wei2-chen1|t=楊維楨|s=杨维桢}}; {{Circa|1296}} – 1370) was a Chinese painter and calligrapher during the Yuan Dynasty (1271–1368).
Yang was born in the Zhejiang province.{{cite web|url=http://www.china-on-site.com/pages/painter/1026.php|title=Yáng Wéizhēn Brief Biography|access-date=2008-07-11}} His style name was 'Lianfu' and his sobriquet was 'Tieya'. Yang's reputation for calligraphy was well known, incorporating a purity and strength into his works.
