Yaroslav Trofimov (born 1969) is a Ukrainian-born{{cite web|title=Yaroslav Trofimov's evacuation from Kabul in WSJ|url=https://www.wsj.com/video/series/on-the-news/escaping-kabul-as-the-taliban-take-afghanistan/E778C716-9457-408B-BD7D-2754D24CE14C}} Italian author and journalist who is chief foreign-affairs correspondent at The Wall Street Journal. Previously he wrote a weekly column on the Greater Middle East, "Middle East Crossroads,"{{cite web|title=Yaroslav Trofimov in WSJ|url=http://topics.wsj.com/person/T/yaroslav-trofimov/7713}} in The Wall Street Journal. He has been a foreign correspondent for the publication since 1999, covering the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Prior to 2015 he was The Wall Street Journal{{'s}} bureau chief in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
