Zhang Wuling ({{zh|t=張武齡}}; 1889–1938) was a Chinese educator. Names

His birth name was Zhang Wuling ({{zh|t=張武齡|links=no}}). His style name was Shengjin ({{zh|t=繩進|links=no}}), he also known as Jiyou ({{zh|t=冀牖|links=no}}) and Jiyou ({{zh|s=吉友|links=no}}).

Biography

Zhang was born in Hefei, Anhui, in 1889, the grandson of Zhang Shusheng, a high-ranking military officer in the Huai Army.{{cite news|url= http://news.sina.com.cn/c/2004-11-19/09464287069s.shtml|script-title=zh:张家旧事 |newspaper=Sina |date=2004-11-19 |language=zh }}

Zhang moved to Shanghai in 1912. In 1918, he moved to Suzhou, he established Suzhou Leyi Girls' School ({{zh|t=蘇州樂益女子學校|links=no}}) in 1921 and Pinglin Middle School ({{zh|t=平林中學|links=no}}) in 1925.

In 1937, the Second Sino-Japanese War broke out, he escaped from the flames of war with his family and moved to his hometown. Zhang died in there in 1938, aged 49.
