Geography

Contiguous with Emu Park, the town is located on the Capricorn Coast, {{convert|685|km|mi}} north north west of the state capital, Brisbane {{convert|32|km|mi}} east of the city of Rockhampton and approx {{convert|23.3|km|mi}} south of Yeppoon.

History
