Zuqaqip
Zuqaqip of Kish was the ninth Sumerian king of the semi-legendary First Dynasty of Kish, according to the Sumerian King List, where his length of reign is given as 900 years.Thorkild Jacobsen, The Sumerian King List (Chicago: University of Chicago Press, 1939), pp. 78f His name means "Scorpion".William W. Hallo and William Kelly Simpson, The Ancient Near East: A History, Harcourt Brace Jovanovich, Inc., New York, 1971, p. 41 Zuqaqip is unlikely to have existed as his name does not appear on texts dating from the period in which he was presumed to have lived (Early Dynastic period).{{Cite journal|last=Marchesi|first=Gianni|date=2010|title=The Sumerian King List and the Early History of Mesopotamia|url=https://www.academia.edu/10052536/The_Sumerian_King_List_and_the_Early_History_of_Mesopotamia|journal=M.
