Cezerye is a semi-gelatinous traditional Turkish dessert made from caramelised carrots, shredded coconut, and roasted walnuts, hazelnuts, or pistachios. Cut into matchbox-sized rectangular chips, it is traditionally served on special occasions. It originated from the Turkish province of Mersin.{{Cite web|url=https://www.ntv.com.tr/n-life/n-lezzetler/kerebic-tatlisi-nasil-yapilir-malzemeleri-neler-kerebic-tarifi,K2nuJ4Emi0uzwUWwmmenpA|title=Kerebiç tatlısı nasıl yapılır, malzemeleri neler? While variations on the treat exist which replace the carrot with fig or date purée, the name is nonetheless derived from the word "jazriyya", which is Arabic for "with carrot".{{Cite web|url=https://www.etimolojiturkce.com/kelime/cezerye|title=Cezerye - Kelime Etimolojisi, Kelimesinin Kökeni|website=www.etimolojiturkce.com|access-date=2019-03-01}}
