Interference ripples are a type of sedimentary structure{{cite web|url=https://www.uwgb.edu/dutchs/EarthSC202Slides/sroxslid.htm |title=Physical Geology Slides-Sedimentary Rocks |publisher=Uwgb.edu |date= |accessdate=2016-03-19}} made up of two sets of ripples formed at right-angles to each other as a result of there being two dominant paleocurrents. These ripples may be formed in the beds of intermittent streams.{{cite journal|author=M. Dane Picard and Lee R.
