málaháttr

Málaháttr (Old Norse: {{IPA|non|ˈmɑːlɑˌhɑtːz̠|}}) is a poetic metre in Old Norse poetry, which is usually described as "conversational style." It is similar to fornyrðislag except that there are more syllables in a line; usually five.
