malignant edema
Malignant edema (or malignant oedema'Oedema' is the standard form defined in the Concise Oxford English Dictionary (2011), with the precision that the spelling in the United States is 'edema'.) is an acute, generally rapidly fatal wound infection (toxemia) most common in grazing animals. It affects cattle, horses, sheep, goats, pigs, and deer.
