noncoherent STC
Non-coherent space time codes are a way of transmitting data in wireless communications.
In this multiple antenna scheme, it is assumed that the receiver only has knowledge of the statistics of channel.
Non-coherent space-time transmission schemes were proposed by Tom Marzetta and Bertrand Hochwald in 1999, but these schemes are complex in terms of implementation.{{cite journal|title=Capacity of a mobile multiple-antenna communication link in Rayleigh flat fading|author1=Marzetta, T.L. |author2=Hochwald, B.M. |name-list-style=amp |journal=IEEE Transactions on Information Theory|date=January 1999|volume=45|issue=1|pages=139–157|doi=10.1109/18.746779|citeseerx=10.1.1.134.4611 }}{{cite journal|title=Unitary space-time modulation for multiple-antenna communications in Rayleigh flat fading|author1=Hochwald, B.M. |author2=Marzetta, T.L. |name-list-style=amp |journal=IEEE Transactions on Information Theory|date=March 2000|volume=46|issue=2|pages=543–564|doi=10.1109/18.825818|citeseerx=10.1.1.38.6488 }}
