It may be helpful to many to know that "Time and Motion Study" is US English usage. Its equivalent of "British English" is 'Work Study' consisting of Method Study (Motion Study) and Time Study.

"This instrumental view of human behavior by Taylor prepared the path for human relations to supersede scientific management in terms of literary success and managerial application." -This sentence is fascinating but I think it may need to be expanded a bit to make sense. Where does 'literary success' fit in? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.79.150.22 (talk) 06:07, 24 September 2022 (UTC)
Engvar
As far as I can tell, Time and Work Study was proposed primarily by 3 US academics. As such, per WP:ENGVAR this article should probably be written with US English spelling. Does that seem correct to others? Qwyrxian (talk) 02:35, 13 October 2011 (UTC)
:Old comment, but that doesn't really qualify a a "strong national tie" as is usually the case when that policy is cited. 3142 (talk) 23:03, 11 February 2017 (UTC)
Time and motion study in media
The norwegian film [http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0323872/ Kitchen stories] is centered around the relationship of a time study man and his subject, and it's a hilarious satire on the subject. I also noticed there seem to be a poor inter-language wiki linking between this page and the ones in Swedish, might fix that someday -- CarlJohanSveningsson (too lazy to log in) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.181.201.194 (talk) 13:22, 23 November 2016 (UTC)
