Background

On March 14, 2024, Trainor announced a 24-date North American tour, titled the Timeless Tour. The Timeless Tour was Trainor's fourth concert tour, and followed her third tour, the Untouchable Tour, which she embarked on in 2016, in support of her sophomore studio album Thank You. This marked Trainor's tour return after eight years of absence.{{Cite magazine |last=Cao |first=Katie |date=2024-10-14 |title=Behind the Scenes of Meghan Trainor's Timeless Tour at Madison Square Garden {{!}} Tour Stop {{!}} Billboard News |url=https://www.billboard.com/video/meghan-trainors-timeless-tour-madison-square-garden-behind-the-scenes/ |access-date=December 14, 2024 |magazine=Billboard }} Following the tour announcement, there was an artist presale on March 19, 2024, with the general sale following three days later.{{Cite web|last=Lynch|first=Cherice|title=Meghan Trainor Bringing 'The Timeless Tour' to Philadelphia This Fall. This revenue is 91% higher with a 50% increase in ticket sales when compared to The Untouchable Tour.

The Timeless Tour was largely performed in outdoor amphitheaters rather than in large indoor arenas. Despite this, Trainor performed at several arenas and amphitheaters including Madison Square Garden, Kia Forum, and Allstate Arena. Additionally, concerts were performed with recorded tracks rather than a live band in order to afford live dancers.
