The username Eran of Arcadia is derived from Sindarin: "Er"-one/only, "-ran", pilgrim/wanderer; Eran means roughly "lone wanderer" or "he who walks alone". It also comes from the city of Arcadia, California, in and around which this editor served an LDS mission from 2002 to 2004. The name "Eran of Arcadia" appears in several places on the internet; for a complete list see [http://eranofarcadia.blogspot.com here]. For this user's sandbox, see here.
