Hello, I am Hamiltonstone. In real life i live in Canberra. My hobbies include research and writing, and in my professional life, well, I do research and writing. My greatest pleasure in Wiki-world has been crafting biographies of significant women in Australian art (which is why I wrote about Ben Gascoigne. Well, not quite). I am sometimes not a fan of their works - Jean Bellette being a case in point. But often they are wonderful - my favourite is perhaps Bronwyn Oliver - and their life stories frequently both exceptional and tragic.
My username has its origins in names from my family; more recently I used its components in my small business name that, after discussion, [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Requests_for_comment/User_names&oldid=902606183#Hamiltonstone was allowed].
