I compete in Strongman/Strength athletics, and head up a provincial Strongman Association. I train in a mixed powerlifting/strongman style that addresses both strength and mobility.

I enjoy playing guitar -- both acoustic and electric. My listening habits encompass a spectrum ranging from Metallica, Joe Satriani and Yngwie J. Malmsteen to classic blues, jazz and even (occasionally) classical music.

My personal tastes run to Fantasy and Science Fiction. I especially enjoy such Canadian authors as Charles de Lint and Guy Gavriel Kay.
