Information about myself

  • I'm a huge fan of comics, video games, pro wrestling and movies.
  • I joined Wikipedia on June 22, 2006.
  • When I'm not editing Wikipedia, I'm editing Pro Wrestling Wiki: http://prowrestling.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page as well as Pro Wrestling Answers: http://prowrestling.answers.wikia.com/wiki/Wikianswers_Pro_Wrestling

My views on various Wikipedia things

  1. Wikipedia isn't an anarchy. Policies and guidelines are in place for good reason. Even if you don't personally agree with them, doesn't justify you ignoring them.
  2. Autograph books should go. Wikipedia isn't MySpace. Being social is just fine, but signing a little book just to see how many you can get, and to show off your online friends is a bit pointless in the big picture of things.
  3. Not everything is suitable for Wikipedia, so deletions need to happen. Redirects aren't the correct route in every case.
  4. Edit summaries should be required. There's no excuse not to have one. It's useful, so people know what you did to the article.
