Tomas Cisneros Laverty is a musical artist, professor and poet from Saginaw, Michigan. He owns [http://detroitspaces.com Detroit Spaces] and was adjunct faculty at Mott Community College, University of Detroit Mercy and various other colleges and schools throughout Michigan.

His musical groups include Bolabit, Ignorant Mob, múnbút, Tomás y los Niños Perdidos and solo arrangements under the titles Tom Laverty Group and Tomas Laverty Group.

His Hammond organ work has appeared on albums with Lee “Scratch” Perry, U Brown, King Mellowman and many others.
