Axel Block (born July 13, 1947 in Velbert) is a German cinematographer. Since 1974, Block has worked as director of photography on more than a hundred cinema and television productions, and lectured on film composition at several academies. From 1997 to 2015, Block held the position of applied visual arts professor at the University of Television and Film Munich.

He was already interested in cinematography at the age of 13, and making amateur movies. Upon successful completion of his school-leaving qualifications, Block served an apprenticeship as a photographer. In 1968, he was offered admission to the newly founded University of Television and Film in München to train as a film director. Due to his photography expertise, Block was employed as a camerman whilst still at college.

Shortly after graduation, Block started working as associate and assistant director. He began his collaboration with the WDR in 1974 on the feature No reason to worry, which reinforced his decision to pursue a career as a cinematographer. In the following years, Block continued working for television studios; he filmed Out of the Hitler Time and the On the road series directed by Ilse Hofmann. In 1981, Block was nominated a principal cinematographer for Tatort: Duisburg-Ruhrort thriller, in which Horst Schimanski, a detective chief inspector, made his first appearance. Subsequently, Block was involved in the production of six more Tatort movies, three episodes of the Schimanski crime series from 1987 to the late 1990s, and a cinema film Tatort: Zabou in 1987.

Shadi Hedayati (* 1985 in Bochum) ist eine deutsche Schauspielerin persischer Abstammung. Bekannt wurde sie unter anderm durch ihre Theateraufführungen und den Sat.1-Fernsehfilm Die Schlikkerfrauen, in der sie Zari spielte.

Shadi Hedayati wurde 1985 in Bochum geboren. Hedayatis Eltern sind aus Iran. Von 2001 bis 2009 nahm sie an verschiedenen Gesangs-, Tanz- und Schauspielseminaren teil. 2008 gab sie in Der Messias ihr Debüt als Theaterschauspielerin. Weitere Rollen, wie in Antigone oder Winnetou und das Halbblut, folgten. 2010 war sie erstmals im Fernsehen zu sehen. Sie übernahm eine Gastrolle in der Sat.1-Fernsehserie Danni Lowinski. Hedayati's parents are from Iran. Between 2001 and 2009, she attended various courses in singing, dancing, and acting, making her debut as a theatre actress in the 2008 play Der Messias. She was also a part of the cast in Antigone and Winnetou and the Crossbreed. Hedayati made her first appearance on TV in the German legal dramedy Danni Lowinski in 2010. Her cinematic debut followed in 2012, when she had a guest role in Frisch gepresst. She played the lead for the first time in an episode of the ZDF production Flemming.

Hedayati was cast as the main character Selma Hadschi in the RTL pilot Scarlet & Hadschi. She made her first appearance as a lead character in a television film in the 2014 Sat.1 movie Die Schlikkerfrauen (a comedic take on the bankruptcy of the German retail company Schlecker), taking on the role of "Schlikker" employee Zari. One year later, she also played the lead in the comedy Die Udo Honig Story. In the Sat.1 crime series 23 Cases, Hedayati plays the main character Tara Schöll, a Federal Criminal Police officer, who thinks a convicted criminal is innocent. Egidijus Bauba (* 25. März 1977 in Kaunas, Litauische SSR) ist ein ehemaliger litauischer Eishockeyspieler und heutiger Trainer, der mit 98 Punkten der erfolgreichste Scorer der litauischen Eishockeynationalmannschaft ist. Sein älterer Bruder Dainius war ebenfalls litauischer Nationalspieler.

Egidijus Bauba begann seine Karriere als Eishockeyspieler in Elektrėnai beim dortigen SC Energija, für den er bereits als 18-jähriger in der East European Hockey League spielte. 1996 wechselte er nach Tschechien und spielte dort zunächst für den HC Slezan Opava, der ihn nicht nur in der tschechischen U20-Liga, sondern auch in der Extraliga, der höchsten Seniorenspielklasse des Landes, einsetzte. Von 1997 bis 1999 spielte er für verschiedene unterklassige Vereine in der 1. Liga und der 2. Liga Tschechiens. Dabei wurde er 1998 mit dem HC Šumperk Meister der drittklassigen 2. Liga, scheiterte aber in den Aufstiegsspielen zur 1. Liga.

Anschließend spielte er bis 2006 wieder für seinen Stammverein aus Elektrėnai, für den er in der litauischen und der lettischen Liga, in der er 2004 Torschützenkönig wurde, sowie der East European Hockey League auf dem Eis stand. Mit dem SC Energija gewann er 2001 die litauische Meisterschaft. In der Spielzeit 1999/2000 spielte er daneben auch bei Tiwali Minsk in der weißrussischen Extraliga und wurde mit dem Klub weißrussischer Meister. Den sieben Jahren in Elektrėnai folgten vier Jahre beim lettischen DHK Latgale in der lettischen Liga, in der er 2008 für das All-Star-Game nominiert wurde und 2010 sowohl Topscorer als auch Torschützenkönig war.

2010 zog es ihn nach England, wo er zunächst für die Swindon Wildcats in der English Premier Ice Hockey League und dann bei den Bristol Pitbulls in der National Ice Hockey League aktiv war. Von 2014 bis 2016 ließ er seine Karriere beim norwegischen Zweitligisten Bergen IK ausklingen, bei dem er seit 2016 als Assistenztrainer fungiert.

Nach der Umstellung auf das heutige Divisionensystem spielte er für seine Farben bei den Weltmeisterschaften der Division I 2001, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 und 2015. 2002, als er Topscorer und Torschützenkönig des Turniers war, und 2004 spielte er mit seiner Mannschaft in der Division II, wobei jeweils der sofortige Wiederaufstieg in die Division I gelang.

Egidius Bauba (born March 25, 1977), is a former Lithuanian ice hockey player and current coach. His older brother Dainius also played for the Lithuanian national team.

Bauba began his career as an ice hockey player in Elektrėnai with the Eastern European Hockey League club SC Energija at age 18. In 1996 he transferred to the Czech Republic, where he first played for HC Slezan Opava, in both the Czech U20-League and Extraliga, the highest division in the country. From 1997 to 1999, he played for various lower-league clubs in the second- and third-level Czech division. In 1998, he won the 2nd Czech Republic Hockey League championship with HC Šumperk, but failed in the playoffs for the 1st Czech Republic Hockey League.

Subsequently, Bauba once more played for his first club in Elektrènai. During his spell there, he played in the Lithuanian, Eastern European, and Latvian hockey leagues, where the team won the championship in 2001 and he was leading goal scorer in 2004. In the 1999-2000 season, he also played for and won the championship with Tivali Minsk in the Belarusian Extraleague. After seven years with SC Energija, Bauba played for the Latvian DHK Latgale for four years, claiming a spot in the 2008 All-Star-Game as well as the top scorer and goal scorer title in 2010.

In 2010, he moved to England where he played for the English Premier Ice Hockey League side Swindon Wildcats and the Bristol Pitbulls in the National Ice Hockey League. He spent the last two years of his playing career from 2014 to 2016 with Bergen IK, playing in the second Norwegian division. Bauba played ice hockey competitively for multiple Lithuanian junior teams and represented his country in the 1994 IIHF European U18 Championship in Group C. He then entered the IIHF European U18 Championship again in 1995, where he was top scorer of the Group C2. He was also succesful during the U20 World Championships, and was named the best forward in Group D in 1996 and 1997.

While playing for the senior team, Bauba contributed to his team's success in the 1995 World Championships (Group C2), and 1996 World Championships (Group C2), where Lithuania was promoted to Group C, and subsequently the World Championship Group C (1997, 1998, 1999, 2000). Following the establishment of a new divisional structure for the World Championships, Bauba and Lithuania played in Division I in 2001, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2015. Following relegation in the previous year, Bauba became top scorer and top goal scorer in Division II in the 2002, as well as the 2004 World Championships, gaining promotion back to Division I in both years.

Bauba also competed in the pre-qualification tournament for the Winter Olympics in Turin in 2006.

Nach dem Unfalltod Nutts übernahm dessen Frau die Verlagsleitung. Sie war auch eine engagierte Frauenrechtlerin und verlegte die Schriften der Suffragetten, möglicherweise vermittelte sie Watts an die Frauenwahlrechtlerinnen.

Watts entwarf 1908 das Werbeplakat Bugler Girl der Artists’ Suffrage League für die Juni-Demonstration der National Union of Women’s Suffrage Societies (NUWSS). Das Motiv wurde in der Folge zum Logo der Suffragettenzeitung und wurde vielfach kopiert. Es wurde auch von der US-amerikanischen Frauenwahlrechtsbewegung übernommen.

Watts lebte mit ihrer Schwester 1911 in Godalming und 1918 in Colehil in Dorset.

Caroline Marsh Watts (1868-1919) was a British painter. She was born in Handsworth, now part of Birmingham, and died in Colehill, Dorset.

Caroline Watts was the youngest child of Robert Watts. He manufactured buttons in Handsworth up to the year 1891, when he retired and moved to St Margarets in the Twickenham area with his youngest children. Caroline Watts studied at the Slade School of Fine Art in London. Upon their father's death in 1894, Watts and her sister Mary moved to Pimlico. In the 1901 census, the sisters stated Mary's occupation was compiler of indexes, while Caroline worked as a painter.

The first illustrations that can be traced back to her were drawn from 1899 on. Some depict the King Arthur legend, while others were drwan for various historical novels written by Jessie Weston and published by Alfred Nutt. Upon Nutt's death, his wife M. L. Nutt, an involved women's rights activist, took over the publishing house. Under her watch, various works of Suffragettes were published. It is therefore assumed that she put Watts in touch with the women's right activists.

In 1908, Watts created the Artists' Suffrage League's promotional poster Bugler Girl for the National Union of Women's Suffrage Societies' June demonstrations. The motif was thereafter made the logo of the suffragette newspaper and was copied frequently. It was also borrowed by the Women's suffrage in the United States.

Watts and her sister lived in Godalming in 1911 and had moved to Colehill, Dorset by 1918.

Der Fischer-Score (nach Wolfgang M. Fischer) ist ein geburtshilfliches Scoring-System zur Beurteilung der fetalen Herzfrequenz, die mit einem CTG aufgezeichnet wird.

Der Score geht auf eine Empfehlung von Fischer und Kollegen aus dem Jahre 1976 zurück und lehnt sich bewusst an den ebenfalls aus der Geburtshilfe stammenden Apgar-Score an. Andere Beurteilungsschemata sind die Scores nach Kubli und Hammacher.

Der Fischer-Score kann eine Punktzahl von 0 bis 10 Punkte erreichen, dabei bedeutet eine niedrige Punktzahl eine wahrscheinlichere Gefährdung des Feten als eine hohe (8 bis 10). Folgende Qualitäten werden beurteilt:

• Grundfrequenz (Basalfrequenz, Baseline) ist die mittlere Frequenz der fetalen Herzfrequenz und wird entsprechend in Schlägen pro Minute (spm oder englisch bpm) angegeben.
• Bandbreite beurteilt die Bandbreite der Herzfrequenz. Da zwischen zwei Herzschlägen nie die gleiche Zeit vergeht, pendelt die Frequenz des fetalen Herzschlages um die Grundfrequenz. Diese Bandbreite wird ebenfalls in spm angegeben.
• Nulldurchgänge beurteilt, wie oft die Kurve des fetalen Herzschlages die Basalfrequenz durchschreitet. Sie wird in Nulldurchgängen pro Minute angegeben.
• Akzelerationen: Durch physiologische Vorgänge sollte es zu einem gelegentlichen sprunghaften Ansteigen der kindlichen Herzfrequenz kommen. Diese werden als vierter Parameter beurteilt.
• Dezelerationen: In bestimmten Situationen kann es zu einem plötzlichen Absinken der Herzfrequenz kommen, die man als Dezelerationen bezeichnet. Diese werden in Zusammenschau mit der Wehentätigkeit beurteilt.
  Die Dezelerationen werden in die Typen 0, 1 und 2 unterteilt (beispielsweise Dip 1 für Dezeleration Typ 1).

The Fischer score is a midwifery method used to assess the fetal heart rate recorded via CTG.

The score dates back to a recoomendation by Wolfgang M. Fischer and his colleagues in 1976. It was deliberately chosen to be close to the Apgar score also used in midwifery. Other scoring systems include those of Kubli and Hammacher.

The score can reach a value between 0 and 10. A lower score indicates the fetus is more likely to be at risk than a high score (8-10). Five variables are measured and scored either 0, 1, or 2 points each.

• Basal frequency (also baseline): The medial frequency of the fetal heart rate, measured in beats per minute (bpm).

• Heart rate variability (HRV): Describes the deviation of the heart rate from the basal frequency. As the time between two heart beats is never the same, the frequency of the fetal heart rate oscillates around the basal frequency. The HRV is also measured in bpm.

• Zero crossings: Count of how often the graph of the fetal heart rate crosses the baseline, measured in zero crossings per minute.

• Accelerations: Due to various physiological processes, there should be sporadic peaks in the fetus' heart rate. These are called accelerations if they last for more than 15 seconds and differ by more than 15 bpm from the baseline.

• Decelerations: Sudden drops in heart rate can occur in certain situations and are called decelerations. In combination with uterine activity, they are categorised into Types 0, I, or II (for example Dip I for a type I deceleration)
