Yaw Bediako is a Ghanian immunologist who studied at Calvin University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Education
Bediako obtained his B.sc at Calvin University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He later obtained his Ph.D. in microbiology and immunology from Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois.{{citation needed|date= April 2025}}
In London, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the Francis Crick Institute. He was also a research assistant at the Calvin Institute of Technology in Indonesia and the Van Andel Institute in the United States.
Career

Recognition
In 2024, Bediako received the Calestous Juma Science Leadership Fellowship, awarded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. This fellowship recognizes his outstanding contributions to science and his leadership in advancing cancer research in Africa.
