Nannophrys is a genus of frogs endemic to Sri Lanka. It used to be placed in the large frog family Ranidae but a phylogenetic study was undertaken using DNA sequences and it is now included in the family Dicroglossidae. They are sometimes known under the common name streamlined frogs.{{cite web |url=http://research.amnh.org/vz/herpetology/amphibia/Amphibia/Anura/Dicroglossidae/Dicroglossinae/Nannophrys |title=Nannophrys Günther, 1869 |author=Frost, Darrel R. |year=2015 |work=Amphibian Species of the World: an Online Reference. Ecology

Nannophrys species are flat-bodied frogs that are adapted to live among narrow, horizontal rock crevices near clear-water streams.{{cite journal|last1=Senevirathne|first1=Gayani|last2=Meegaskumbura|first2=Madhava|year=2015|title=Life among crevices: osteology of Nannophrys marmorata (Anura: Dicroglossidae)|journal=Zootaxa|volume=4032|issue=2|pages=241–245|doi=10.11646/zootaxa.4032.2.12|pmid=26624358}}
