US Primary Copper Production Chart
Good day Kbh3rd
I appreciate the effort you went to in putting together that 'US Primary Copper Production' chart on the 'Copper mining in the United States' article on Wikipedia, as I have found it to be quite interesting. I have a question in relation to this chart, though.
Assuming you have a free moment, I was wondering if you could point me to where exactly you sourced the figures from in the USGS site?
I noticed on the chart that the source is named as being the United States Geological Survey, however, when I visited that site, I wasn't able to work out exactly where the annual copper production data is housed on the site.
If you could point me in the right direction, that would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your attention,
Inchiquin (talk) 23:49, 5 January 2024 (UTC)
:I'm sure they changed that page and the location of the data in the several years since I made that chart. I'll look around this weekend and let you know if I can find the latest data.
::--Kbh3rdtalk 12:51, 6 January 2024 (UTC)
:Following the Commodities link on that page I found [https://www.usgs.gov/centers/national-minerals-information-center/copper-statistics-and-information this page] that has lots of documents. I don't yet see data there for the missing years prior to 2018, but more digging might turn up something. --Kbh3rdtalk 20:57, 10 January 2024 (UTC)

Custom signature fix needed
Hi there! You have a custom signature set in your account preferences. Changes to Wikipedia's software have made your current custom signature invalid.
The problem: Your signature contains a syntax error or obsolete HTML tags.
The solutions: You can reset your signature to the default, you can fix your signature, or you can do nothing.
Solution 1: Reset your signature to the default:
- Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
- Uncheck the box (☑︎→☐) that says "Treat the above as wiki markup."
- Remove anything in the {{int:yournick}} text box.
- Click the blue "{{int:Saveprefs}}" button at the bottom of the page. (Do not click the red "{{int:Restoreprefs}}" button, which will reset all of your preference settings, not just the signature.)
Solution 2: Fix your custom signature:
- Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
- Click the {{mw button|Learn more|normal}} button next to the error to learn how to fix the error.
- Update your signature to fix the error.
- Click Save to update to your newly fixed signature.
Solution 3: Do nothing:
- In accordance with a recent request for comment, all invalid signatures will be changed to the default, which looks like "Example (talk)", one month from now.

Previously this applied only to administrators deysopped for inactivity.
- Following a request for comment, a new speedy deletion criterion, T5, has been enacted. This applies to template subpages that are no longer used.

- Following an RfC, administrator elections were permanently authorized on a five-month schedule. The next election will be scheduled soon; see Wikipedia talk:Administrator elections for more information. This is an alternate process to the RfA process and does not replace the latter.
- An RfC was closed with consensus to allow editors to opt-out of seeing "sticky decorative elements". Such elements should now be wrapped in {{t|sticky decoration wrapper}}. Editors who wish to opt out can follow the instructions at WP:STICKYDECO.
- An RfC has resulted in a broad prohibition on the use of AI-generated images in articles. A few common-sense exceptions are recognized.
