The 1961 North Carolina College Eagles football team was an American football team that represented North Carolina College (NCC) as a member of the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) during the 1961 college football season. Amos Thornton broke the school's single-season scoring record. He scored nine touchdowns in the first eight games.

The team played its home games at O'Kelly Field in Durham, North Carolina.
