The 2000–01 Turkish Cup was the 39th edition of the annual tournament that determined the association football Süper Lig Turkish Cup ({{langx|tr|Türkiye Kupası}}){{cite web | title = Takım sayısı | url = http://www.mackolik.com/Cups/Default.aspx?id=1&season=2000/2001 | archive-url = https://web.archive.org/web/20151003145143/http://www.mackolik.com/Cups/Default.aspx?id=1&season=2000%2F2001 | archive-date = 3 October 2015 | access-date = 22 August 2020 }} champion under the auspices of the Turkish Football Federation ({{langx|tr|Türkiye Futbol Federasyonu}}; TFF). Gençlerbirliği successfully contested Fenerbahçe in the final after penalty shoot-out. The results of the tournament also determined which clubs would be promoted or relegated.
