Pool A of the 2015 Rugby World Cup began on 18 September and was completed on 10 October 2015.{{cite web|url=https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/rugby-union/22381109 |title=World Cup 2015 schedule |date=2 May 2013 |accessdate=2 May 2013|work=BBC Sport}} The pool was composed of hosts England, as well as the third- and fourth-placed teams from 2011, Australia and Wales. They were joined by the Oceania qualifier, Fiji, and the repechage qualifier, Uruguay.
