It took place between March 1 and 7, 2017.{{cite web|url=http://www.ussoccer.com/stories/2017/01/11/14/52/20170111-news-wnt-us-soccer-host-second-shebelieves-cup-usa-england-france-germany|title=U.S. Soccer to Host Second SheBelieves Cup Featuring USA, England, France and Germany|work=Goal.com|date=January 11, 2017}}

The Algarve Cup ran in parallel as well as the Cyprus Cup. France won the tournament for the first time, winning two and drawing one of their games in the process.
