The 2025 Tampa Bay Rays season is the 28th season of the Tampa Bay Rays franchise, as members of Major League Baseball's American League East Division.
The 2025 season was slated to be the Rays’ 28th season playing at Tropicana Field; however, the stadium was heavily damaged during the passage of Hurricane Milton, rendering it unusable for the entirety of the season.{{Cite web |title=Multi-million dollar project: The Rays unsure of the Trop's future {{!}} FOX 13 Tampa Bay |url=https://www.fox13news.com/news/multi-million-dollar-project-rays-unsure-trops-future.amp |access-date=2024-10-17 |website=www.fox13news.com}} On November 14, 2024, the Rays announced that they will play their 2025 home games at George M. Steinbrenner Field in Tampa, the spring training home of the New York Yankees.{{Cite web |last=Writer |first=Jon Paul Hoornstra Contributing Sports |date=2024-10-16 |title=MLB News: Hurricane Milton Damaged Rays' Stadium; Where Will They Play? |url=https://www.newsweek.com/sports/mlb/mlb-news-after-hurricane-milton-damaged-rays-stadium-where-will-they-play-1970116 |access-date=2024-10-17 |website=Newsweek |language=en}} It is the first time an MLB team has been temporarily displaced from their home stadium since 2021 when the Toronto Blue Jays had to play in stadiums in Buffalo, New York and Dunedin, Florida because of the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions from Canada.
