3C 249.1 is a Seyfert galaxy located in the constellation Draco. It hosts a powerful radio source{{Cite journal |last1=Lonsdale |first1=C. J. |last2=Morison |first2=I. |date=1983-05-01 |title=Asymmetries in four powerful radio sources. |journal=Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society |volume=203 |issue=3 |pages=833–851 |doi=10.1093/mnras/203.3.833 |doi-access=free |bibcode=1983MNRAS.203..833L |issn=0035-8711}} and is located at redshift 0.3115, with a peculiar radio structure. One of its radio lobes is classified as having a Fanaroff-Riley classification Type II, while the other lobe has no features nor containing hotspots.{{Cite journal |last=Marecki |first=A. |date=2012-09-01 |title=Are 3C 249.1 and 3C 334 restarted quasars? |url=https://www.aanda.org/articles/aa/abs/2012/09/aa20010-12/aa20010-12.html |journal=Astronomy & Astrophysics |language=en |volume=545 |pages=A132 |doi=10.1051/0004-6361/201220010 |arxiv=1209.1284 |bibcode=2012A&A...545A.132M |issn=0004-6361}}
