A Coming of Age is the second album by British indie pop band Lucky Soul. It was self-released through Ruffa Lane Records in 2010.
Production
The band began writing songs for the album in late 2008. Early the following year, they recorded five songs with the Stockholm Strings.{{cite web |url=http://www.undertheradarmag.com/interviews/lucky_soul/ |title=Lucky Soul |last=Valish |first=Frank |date=30 June 2009 |website=Under the Radar |accessdate=6 December 2014}} Frontman Andrew Laidlaw described the music as "somewhere in between Motown and The Smiths."{{cite web |url=http://www.basingstokegazette.co.uk/leisure/general/8211757.Sounds_of_summertime/ |title=Sounds of summertime |last=Richards |first=Lucie |date=11 June 2010 |website=Basingstoke Gazette |publisher=Newsquest |accessdate=6 December 2014}} He noted that the album as "a bit darker and…more direct" than Lucky Soul's debut album The Great Unwanted.
Critical reception
