Aeolian is the second studio album by German post-metal band the Ocean. It was released on 7 March 2006 through Metal Blade Records.

About

Aeolian is the second part of a two-CD project that started with Fluxion. Whereas Fluxion had a focus on atmosphere and orchestral sounds, Aeolian focuses more on the band's hardcore and metal influences.{{cite web | url = https://www.popmatters.com/the_ocean_aeolian-2495675894.html | title = The Ocean : Aeolian - Pop Matters Music Review | author = Pop Matters | date = 24 March 2006 | accessdate = 23 September 2007 | archiveurl= https://web.archive.org/web/20070821114328/http://www.popmatters.com/pm/music/reviews/the_ocean_aeolian/| archivedate= 21 August 2007 | url-status= live}} The two albums were originally intended to be released together as a double CD, but this was cancelled due to financial reasons.

An animated music video was created for the song "One with the Ocean".{{cite web|publisher=YouTube|url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZzlIyY_Jwig|title=THE OCEAN - 'One With The Ocean' |date=11 October 2006|accessdate=29 November 2021}}
