Agathe Rousselle ({{IPA|fr|aɡat ʁusɛl|lang}}; born 14 June 1988){{cite web|title=Agathe Rousselle - La biographie de Agathe Rousselle avec Gala.fr|url=https://www.gala.fr/stars_et_gotha/agathe_rousselle|website=Gala.fr|language=fr|access-date=25 July 2021|publication-date=}} is a French journalist, model, and actress. She is also known for her lead performance as Alexia in the film Titane, which won the Palme d'Or at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival.

Career

=Journalism career=

Rousselle began her career as a journalist and editor. In 2016, she participated in the creation of General Pop, a cultural web magazine dedicated to emerging cultures. The same year, she co-founded the feminist magazine Peach with the actress and singer Tifenn-Tiana Fournereau.{{cite web|title="Peach", le magazine 100% fait par des filles - Les Inrocks|url=https://www.lesinrocks.com/actu/peach-magazine-100-filles-63006-22-09-2016/|last=Bonomelli|first=Marc|website=lesinrocks.com|language=fr-FR|access-date=3 October 2021|publication-date=}} This magazine, created by women, highlights female artists and creators, in reaction to the lack of exclusively female artistic collectives in France. The review was launched on 22 September at the TDTF3 bar in Paris. The magazine wishes to set itself apart from the traditional women's press while targeting both a female and male audience. It also advocates inclusiveness, appealing for its realization to trans and non-binary people who are often marginalized in the professional world.

=Fashion and entrepreneurship=

Passionate about embroidery, which she practices as a hobby, Rousselle created the company Cheeky Boom in 2012 with her boyfriend at the time, Jean André de Trémontels, a freelance graphic designer.{{cite web|title=T-shirt personnalisé : découvrez les meilleurs sites pour personnaliser un T-shirt - Elle|url=https://www.elle.fr/Mode/Tops-femme/T-shirt-personnalise-2909138|website=elle.fr|language=fr|date=30 July 2015|access-date=3 October 2021|publication-date=}} Cheeky Boom sells T-shirts and panties that are embellished with designed embroidery.{{cite web|title=Cheeky Booom, les tee-shirts brodés avec amour|url=https://www.madmoizelle.com/cheeky-booom-tee-shirts-brodes-115584|website=Madmoizelle|language=fr-FR|date=19 July 2012|access-date=3 October 2021|publication-date=}}{{cite web|title=Le dressing de Agathe Rousselle : créatrice de mode|url=https://www.be.com/mode/1-fille-3-looks/1-fille-3-looks-agathe-rousselle-creatrice-marque-cheeky-boom-92815.html|website=Be|language=fr-FR|date=29 April 2015|access-date=3 October 2021|publication-date=}}{{cite web|title=Wyborcza.pl|url=https://www.wysokieobcasy.pl/wysokie-obcasy/7,157211,27597573,do-ikon-francuskiego-kina-wlasnie-dolaczyla-agathe-rousselle.html?disableRedirects=true|website=www.wysokieobcasy.pl|access-date=3 October 2021|publication-date=}} In 2015, Rousselle became captain of a running team called Boost Pigalle, sponsored by sports equipment manufacturer Adidas.
