Alec MacKaye (born September 11, 1965) is an American singer and musician best known as a member of the DC hardcore bands Untouchables and the Faith.{{cite book|last=Andersen, Mark|first=& Jenkins, Mark|title=Dance of Days: Two Decades of Punk in the Nation's Capital|year=2003|publisher=Akashic Books|isbn=1-888451-44-0|page=44}}{{cite book|last=Cogan|first=Brian|title=The Encyclopedia of Punk|year=2008|publisher=Sterling|isbn=978-1-4027-5960-4|pages=103}} In the mid-1990s Alec joined the band the Warmers as a vocalist and guitarist. He has also been a member of Ignition and Hammered Hulls.
