Amer Abdulrahman

Amer was born and raised in Bani Yas, Abu Dhabi, to his parent Abdul Rahman. He has five brothers and three sisters. At the age of six, Amer started playing volleyball for Al Jazira, and continued to play for three years until the age of nine. He then switched to football, this was largely due to his neighbor, Salem Al Mansouri, who kept telling him to play football since he was exceptional at it. In 2010, he helped the Olympic team win the 2010 GCC U-23 Championship in the Qatar, and was named Player of the Tournament. In the same year he won a silver medal at the Asian Games in China.
