Beaurepaires is an Australian and New Zealand tyre retail and repair chain started in 1922 by Frank Beaurepaire, a former Olympic swimmer for Australia and Australasia, with money he received for rescuing a shark attack victim from the water at Sydney.{{Citation | author1=Lomas, Graham | title=The will to win : the story of Sir Frank Beaurepaire | publication-date=1960 | publisher=Heinemann | url=https://trove.nla.gov.au/work/27451800 | accessdate=28 January 2018 }}{{Citation | title=Milestone : Beaurepaire Tyre Service Pty. In February 2024, it was reported that Goodyear and Dunlop Tyres had begun to look at shuttering its network of 100 Beaurepaires locations, with some locations rebranding to Goodyear Auto Service. Negotiations were held with rival Bob Jane T-Marts to acquire the chain but ultimately fell through, with Bob Jane instead choosing to only purchase a select number of profitable locations.{{Cite web |last=Stockdill |first=Robert |date=8 February 2024 |title=Beaurepaires store network to be closed – report |url=https://insideretail.com.au/business/beaurepaires-store-network-to-be-closed-report-202402 |access-date=8 February 2024 |website=Inside Retail Australia |language=en-US}} In New Zealand, all Beaurepaires locations were rebranded to Advantage Tyre Solutions in 2023.{{Cite web |last=Wade |first=Harrison |date=18 July 2023 |title=Beaurepaires rebrands to Advantage Tyre Solutions |url=https://www.autocar.co.nz/beaurepaires-rebrands-to-advantage-tyre-solutions/ |access-date=8 February 2024 |website=NZ Autocar |language=en-US}} Many locations have since rebranded to Goodyear or Dunlop Tyres.

Marketing

From 2018, Beaurepaires sponsored DJR Team Penske in the Supercars Championship. In 2019, Beaurepaires became the title sponsor of the Supercars Championship event the Melbourne 400, a support event to the Australian Grand Prix.{{cite news |last1=Adam |first1=Mitchell |title=New naming-rights backer for Melbourne 400 |url=https://www.supercars.com/news/championship/new-naming-rights-backer-for-melbourne-400/ |accessdate=23 January 2019 |work=Supercars.com |date=22 January 2019}}

The New Zealand chain is also noted for TV commercials featuring Australian actor Vince Martin as a spokesperson, which he has appeared for more than 25 years, particularly the (singing) Christmas commercials and the simplistic "This is a spoon" advert.{{cite news|last1=Walker|first1=Richard|title=Vince Martin and me|url=http://www.stuff.co.nz/waikato-times/opinion/blogs/meanwhile/6127683/Vince-Martin-and-me|accessdate=11 January 2017|work=Waikato Times|date=12 December 2011}}
