Bodianus bathycapros is a species of wrasse native to tropical and warm temperate waters of the Pacific Ocean, particularly the Hawaiian Islands.Gomon, Martin F. "A revision of the labrid fish genus Bodianus with descriptions of eight new species." Records of the Australian Museum, Supplement 30 (2006): 1-133. It is restricted to deeper waters and has been observed from submersibles at depths of around {{convert|190|m|ft}}.
