He has previously played in MLB for the Texas Rangers, Arizona Diamondbacks, Seattle Mariners, and Toronto Blue Jays.

Amateur career

=Los Angeles Dodgers=

De Geus was assigned to the Double-A Amarillo Sod Poodles to begin the 2022 season. He made 17 appearances for the team, struggling to a 5.96 ERA and 2–1 record with 16 strikeouts in {{fraction|22|2|3}} innings pitched. On June 7, 2022, de Geus was released by the Diamondbacks organization.

=York Revolution=

On June 22, 2022, de Geus signed with the York Revolution of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball (ALPB). In 33 games, he went 2–2 with a 6.43 ERA and 31 strikeouts in 35 innings. de Geus became a free agent following the season.

=Frederick Atlantic League Team=
