Production

The boat was built by C&C Yachts in Canada, but it is now out of production.{{cite web|url =https://sailboatdata.com/builder/cc-yachts|title = C&C Yachts|accessdate = 15 October 2020|last= Browning| first = Randy |work = sailboatdata.com|year = 2018|archive-url= https://archive.today/20201015222748/https://sailboatdata.com/builder/cc-yachts|archive-date= 15 October 2020|url-status= live}}

Design

File:C&C 34 sailboat Saguaro 2131.jpg

The C&C 34 is a small recreational keelboat, built predominantly of fiberglass, with wood trim. It has a masthead sloop rig, an internally-mounted spade-type rudder and a fixed fin keel or centreboard. It displaces {{convert|10100|lb|kg|0|abbr=on}} and carries {{convert|4100|lb|kg|0|abbr=on}} of lead ballast.

The boat has a draft of {{convert|5.90|ft|m|abbr=on}} with the standard keel, {{convert|6.40|ft|m|abbr=on}} with the optional deep keel. There was also an optional stub keel and centreboard version. That version has a draft of {{convert|6.90|ft|m|abbr=on}} with the centreboard extended and {{convert|4.00|ft|m|abbr=on}} with it retracted.

The boat is fitted with a Universal Atomic 4 {{convert|30|hp|kW|0|abbr=on}} gasoline engine. The fuel tank holds {{convert|20|u.s.gal}} and the fresh water tank has a capacity of {{convert|40|u.s.gal}}.

The design has a PHRF racing average handicap of 105 with a high of 117 and low of 93. It has a hull speed of {{convert|6.82|kn|km/h|2|abbr=on}}.{{cite web|url = http://www.sailingjoy.com/sailboat_specs/sailboat_specs/view/1619/c-c-34|title = Sailboat Specifications for C&C 34|accessdate = 2 April 2018|work = Sailing Joy|author = InterVisionSoft LLC|year = 2018}}{{Dead link|date=July 2020 |bot=InternetArchiveBot |fix-attempted=yes }}
