Chagrinia is an extinct genus of prehistoric marine coelacanth which lived during the Late Devonian period.

The holotype, Chagrinia enodis, was found eroded out of the Chagrin Shale in the Euclid Creek Reservation in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1960 by a local citizen.{{cite report|last=Schaeffer|first=Bob|title=A coelacanth fish from the Upper Devonian of Ohio. The fossil material is poorly preserved, but the species appears to exhibit a slender body, narrow caudal peduncle, symmetrical tail, and fin rays that outnumber the endochondral supports. The scales appeared to be unornamented, but that may be a preservational artefact.{{sfn|Forey|1997|pages=346-347}}

Some studies have placed it with the Diplocercidae,{{Cite journal |last=Gess |first=Robert W. |last2=Coates |first2=Michael I. |date=2015 |title=Fossil juvenile coelacanths from the Devonian of South Africa shed light on the order of character acquisition in actinistians: Fossil Coelacanths from the South African Devonian |url=https://academic.oup.com/zoolinnean/article-lookup/doi/10.1111/zoj.12276 |journal=Zoological Journal of the Linnean Society |language=en |volume=175 |issue=2 |pages=360–383 |doi=10.1111/zoj.12276}} while others have found it to be more basal.{{Cite journal |last=Cloutier |first=Richard |date=1996 |title=Morphology, characters, and the interrelationships of basal sarcopterygians |url=https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Richard-Cloutier-2/publication/236973191_Morphology_Characters_and_the_Interrelationships_of_Basal_Sarcopterygians/links/59e4ad64458515393d6112b5/Morphology-Characters-and-the-Interrelationships-of-Basal-Sarcopterygians.pdf |journal=Interrelationships of Fishes}}
