Chill is a PlayStation snowboarding video game published by Eidos Interactive in 1998 and developed by Silicon Dreams Studio.

Gameplay

Development

The game's existence was first mentioned in November 1996.{{cite web|url=https://www.newspapers.com/clip/109744469/the-birmingham-post/|title=Games are a big business for GBH's Dreams|newspaper=The Birmingham Post|page=49|date=March 27, 1997|accessdate=September 18, 2022|via=Newspapers.com}} The title was endorsed by Burton Boards of America{{cite web|url=http://www.sdreams.co.uk/html/info1.html|archiveurl=https://web.archive.org/web/19991003032221/http://www.sdreams.co.uk/html/info1.html|title=Silicon Dreams info|website=sdreams.co.uk|archivedate=October 3, 1999|accessdate=September 18, 2022}} and was showcased at E3 1997.

Eidos stated in early 1998 that they had decided against publishing the game for the PlayStation,{{cite web |last=Fielder |first=Joe |title=Eidos Pushes Ninja Back; Leaves Chill Out in the Cold |url=http://headline.gamespot.com/news/98_02/06_eidos/index.html|archiveurl=https://web.archive.org/web/20001017080548/http://headline.gamespot.com/news/98_02/06_eidos/index.html|website=GameSpot|archivedate=October 17, 2000|date=February 6, 1998|accessdate=September 24, 2022}} but they nonetheless released it a few months later.
